    1881 (Jan 1): Locally surcharged "½" on 1 s. lilac, Setting 4-7, surcharge Type 4, a used example, of good rich colour, extremely well centred for the issue, variety "Short Thick Bar in Fraction", lightly cancelled by "TI" obliterator in black. A scarce and attractive stamp. Cert. BPA (1978) Gi = £ 750.
