    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1851/55: Perkins Bacon (1 d.) grey on blued paper, a used example with large margins all round on 1853 entire letter to Paris, tied by both "1" numeral obliterator of Port of Spain and by 'Calais' entry marking in red (April 23) with framed "COLONIES & c. ART 13" in red adjacent. Reverse with circular despatch (1 / March 25) in black, London cds and Paris arrival where charged '15' décimes due.
