    Guadalajara 1868: 2 r. black on lilac oblong quadrille paper, a huge margined used example (note the pre-affixing paper fold at top right) tied to 1868 cover from Tepic to Guadalajara cancelled by circular negative "CORREOS / TEPIC" handstamp in black (Schatzkes fig. 416) and, alongside, fine oval "FRANQUEADO / TEPIC" with (July 4) manuscript date inserted (Schatzkes fig. 417). Side flaps weak but a very rare usage. Signed Jaretzky. Cert. Pallares (1959).
