    1929/32: Definitive Essays by Perkins Bacon & Co. for the proposed 1 d. and 1½ d. values on card (115 x 63 mm.), the 1 d. in scarlet with Crown and head-plate superimposed on rejected scrolling designs, the second Essay similarly superimposed in pale chestnut, with pencil annotations at top "Not this Crown...White specks added to border...White specks added to border...Head and Background touched up" both with further pencil legends 'Postage & Revenue / JAMAICA' at base. Remarkable and unique.
