    1846: Registered cover front to Chihuahua with "#" in corners to denote registration and red handstamps above, struck with oval "Tesoria Depart.al / De Durango" Eagle cachet in black and postal straight line "FRANCO" and framed manuscript filled "CERTIFIO.N À DURANGO / Salio en 9 de Agosto de 1845" above (Yag & Bash fig. DS5), both in red. Receipted on reverse. Rare and most attractive. Signed J.K. Bash.
