    1852: Cover from Barbados to Philadelphia, USA endorsed 'Paid' at upper right struck with superb "♚ / PAID / AT / BARBADOES" in red with manuscript '1s.' paid in red. Reverse with both double arc "Barbadoes" despatch (Nov 11) and "St. Thomas" transit cds in black (Nov 14) and obverse with 'Steamship / 10' for incoming Ship fee.
