    1865 (July 17): Entire letter from St. Petersburg to Chatillon-de-Michaille, France bearing 1858 30 kop. red & green as well as 1864 1 kop. black & yellow (2) and 5 kop. black & violet, all perf. 12½, four fresh and fine adhesives, tied by the hexagonal numeral '11' obliterator of the PO at the St. Petersburg station of the SPB - Warsaw railway line, a matching cds on reverse, and "P.D." in red alongside the franking. Obverse shows in addition a perfect strike of Prussian "AUS RUSSLAND / über BÜR XI EDK BRG / FRANCO 30 7 65" entry cds in Eydtkuhnen in red and French "PRUSSE 1 AOUT 65 ERQUELINES" enty cds in blue. Reverse with Paris transit, Paris-Lyon ambulant and arrival (Aug 2) cds's, it shows a 'f8' (sgr.) weiterfranco note in blue crayon for postage beyond Prussia. A most attractive entire showing the pre-1866 rate to France. Signed Bolaffi.
