    1872: Envelope with an insured value of 240 francs from Brest to Besançon, forwarded to Paris, bearing Cérès 30 c. brown, 80 c. rose and 25 c. blue type I, three singles with fresh colour and good perforation, tied by Gros Chiffres '611' numeral lozenge, despatch cds (Aug. 19, 1874) and CHARGÉ in red alongside. Reverse with ambulant and arrival cds's. Backflap missing, nevertheless a fresh cover and rare combination franking.rnNote: Postage included the letter rate, in this case 25 c. for a single rate item, a fixed rate of 50 centimes and an insured value fee of 20 c. for each 100 fr. or parts thereof, in this case 60 c., in total 135 c. correctly franked.
