    'Affranchissement de fortune' 1870: Napoléon laureated 10 c. bistre in a horizontal pair used in combination with diagonally bisected Siège 10 c. bistre, fine and examples with fresh colour and good perforation, tied by Gros Chiffres '4787' numeral lozenge to second page of an Entire letter from Wignehies to Anor, clear dotted despatch cds (Sept. 22, 1871) alongside. Reverse with Fourmies transit and arrival cds's of the same day. An exceptional cover with the bisected Siège stamp to pay the new September 1871 rate, especially in this combination of same colour and face value from two different issues.
