    1866: 4 reales red, a fine horizontal pair in a rich bright shade, used on 1872 sensibly refolded cover to Latacunga, in combination with 1 r. yellow single and horizontal pair, with weight annotation "1 libras 6 oz." at right, all tied by "3154" gros chiffres cancellations (formerly of Rixheim), with "Quito / Franca" datestamp in red at right (Feb 17). A very scarce and attractive high franking.
