    1866: 4 reales red, a used example with good margins all round, used on 1869 cover to Guaranda, neatly cancelled by "Ambato" datestamp in black (Feb 21). The stamp carefully lifted for checking and hinged back into original position, the reverse showing part manuscript '8 oz.'. A scarce and attractive cover.
