    1866: 4 reales red, a fine unused horizontal pair in a deep shade, positions 18-19 on the sheet of 104 subjects, with right hand stamp showing broad oval around the central vignette (occurs just 4 times on the sheet of 104 subjects), large margins for this scarce stamp, trace of hinge thin and minor diagonal bend not affecting the superb appearance, large part og. Rare Gi 4a = £ 750+/Scott = $ 1'000+.rnrnNote: The 4 reales red was printed in sheets of 104 stamps - 8 horizontal rows of 13 subjects. The design, with the exception of the vignette appears to have been copied from the Mexico 1856 Hidalgo issue.
