    1865: 1 real green, a fine horizontal pair in a deep shade, used on 1866 entire letter at single rate to Chavez in Lima, Peru, large margins all round and portions of adjoining stamps at top and at base, positions 40-41 on the sheet; neatly tied by "Guayaquil" datestamp (Nov 12) in black. Carried on the 'Vapor Peru' with Lima arrival cds (Nov 17) in black. A scarce and most attractive entire. Signed Holcombe.
