    1868/72: 1 real yellow-orange, two horizontal pairs each with close to large margins all round, probably from different sheets with first pair from a very worn plate showing damage to the top frame and probably from the first row of the sheet, second pair in a clearer impression, tied to 1869 front of cover to Valparaiso, Chile by two strikes of "Guayaquil / Franca" datestamps (Nov 8). Faults but an unusual double rate usage. Opinion Holcombe (1995).
