    First Printing Group 1865: ½ r. blue, fine clear impression, a horizontal strip of four with large margins all round the first three stamps, the fourth torn on opening the reverse of 1865 cover addressed to Valparaiso, Chile, all tied by "Guayaquil" datestamps (May 1) with two further strikes of the datestamp on obverse. Despite the opening tear, a cover of some charm and rarity - the earliest recorded Foreign Destination cover of the Ecuador First Issue. Cert.
