    1884/86: American Banknote Co. Proof for the Railbond issue, 'Ferrocarril Al Norte' 1 p. vermilion imperforate on thick card paper. Superb and scarce: the original reason for the issue was to raise funds for a railway project, this collapsed with the defeat and death of Barrios at Chachuapa, Salvador in April 1885.
