    1875: 2 r. dull red, a used example on 1875 cover front to London tied by "Guatemala" cds with "Correos de Guatemala / Paquetes" cds alongside (Oct 4). Mailed via New York with transit cds (Oct 237) and circular 'T' mark applied in black, probably carried by a Spanish ship with '50' handstamp in blue (French Centimes) charge mark alongside British manuscript '1/-' (shilling) to pay. Previously unrecorded, a rare and most attractive usage.
