    1864: Prepaid turned cover to Ybarra with weight '1oz.' and '½' (real) in blue crayon manuscript, struck with fine circular QUITO / FRANCA datestamp (April 18) in black (Harris #20), recorded from 1864. Inside addressed from Ybarra to Quito with some docketing; a surprisingly scarce marking used in the pre-philatelic era and well struck.
