    1901: Carrillo 10 c. ochre & black and Birris Bridge 1 colon olive bistre & black used on registered 1903 cover to the German Consul in Managua, Nicaragua tied by target cancel in black with 'R' and 'San Jose' framed registration cachets at left and 'Corinto' registration of transit in violet. Reverse with blue San Jose cds (Nov 24), oval Corinto datestamp (Nov 28) and arrival (Dec 2) in violet. Seal removed but an extremely rare usage of the 1 colon on commercial letter.
