    1892: 5 c. red-lilac, a single example with two 10 c. light green, used on 1900 registered cover to Paris tied by target handstamps with ALAJUELA despatch cds (Sept 20) in yellow and blue registration cachet above. The adhesives overlapped by 'New York Exchange' registration label and similar franking on 1898 AR-registered cover from San Jose to New York. Minor imperfections but an attractive pair.
