    Pacific War 1881: Chile 10 c. blue and 1881 1 c. green used on 1882 cover from Lima to Paris each tied by LIMA / PRINCIPAL cds's (Sept 20) and further tied by very scarce octagonal "PANAMA-UNION / PAQ. FR. A No. 1" datestamp (Oct 1) struck in red (Salles fig. 1415) and carried on Paquebot 'Washington' from Colon. Reverse with Rowe sender's cachet and Paris arrival in blue. Top flap detached and the stamps with toning around roulettes but a rare occupation usage.
