    1873: Cover from Rio Grande to New York via London, sent unpaid with 'Rio de Janeiro' despatch cds in black (May 24), reverse with LIVERPOOL / PS PACKET cds (June 27). Obverse with '1/-' charge mark in black deleted in manuscript, struck on arrival with NEW YORK / 31 / U.S.NOTES depreciated currency datestamp (July 9) in black and manuscript '26' credit to Great Britain. Displays well, a scarce entire with two Atlantic Crossings.
