    Amazon River Mail 1924/29: 4 c. dark green used on January 1928 postcard written from Yurimaguas to Sweden endorsed "Via Manaos-Pará" (Brazil), tied by extremely rare Amazon Steamer cancellation: RECEPTORIA / IQUITOS / LAUNCHA ALBERTO struck on board in violet with Iquitos, Peru transit cds (Feb 15) alongside in black. Rare - unrecorded by Antonini & Grasset.rnNote: The journey between Yurimaguas and Iquitos nowadays is still by ferry and taxi and takes between three and five days to accomplish.
