    Austrian offices in Macedonia 1864/67: Entire letter from Serres to Vienna franked by 1864 15 s. brown perf. 9½, tied by bold strike of "SERRES 25 / 12" datestamp in green (Tchilinghirian fig. 617); the postage recently reduced under 1866 tariff. Vienna arrival cds (Jan 4) on reverse. In addition two pieces bearing 1864 5 s. rose perf. 9½ in a strip of four cancelled by two line SERRES datestamps (Tchilinghirian  fig. 616) in blue and 1867 15 s.  brown, two singles tied by SERRES (Tchilinghirian fig. 617) cds's in blue.
