    1879 (April 13): 300 r. red postal stationery envelope, endorsed "per Potosi", sent registered to Chemnitz, Germany up-rated with 1878 Dom Pedro 100 r. green tied by segmented cork cancellation in black, Rio de Janeiro despatch cds in red at left and oval "Registrado" cachet. Registered label "Vom Ausland - über Bahnpost 12 - (Pagny, Metz)" applied at top and reverse with Chemnitz cds (May 8) and thence readdressed to Dresden. A fine and scarce cover.
