    Laos. 1st Anniversary of Laos joining the UPU 1952 (Dec 7): Complete set of five extraordinary Essays for the Airmail 50 p. value, all in various sizes on tracing paper, in close to the accepted designs, all signed by the Designer J. Pheulpin, with one in black ink, another in green & red, third in green & blue, fourth in orange & red and the final Essay in green & brown. A remarkable and unique assembly of great beauty. Note: Laos was admitted into the UPU on May 20, 1952.
