    1885 (July 10): Provisional "4 Atts." on 1 a. red on yellow postal stationery card, further surcharged "Carte Universelle / Universal Postcard" in black, a fine used example cancelled by neat "Bangkok / Paid" cds in black with Oberndorf arrival at left (Aug 14). Reverse with Singapore transit cds (July 15): A remarkable and extremely rare card, mailed just 10 days after Thialand's admittance into the UPU. Cert. RPS (1994).
