    1875 (March 11): Combination cover to Bordeaux franked by Argentina 1867 10 c. green (Scott 18A) tied by Buenos Aires cds, carried on Paquebot "Niger" with France 1871/75 Cérès 10 c. bistre on rose (2, one with rounded corner perf.) and single 80 c. carmine all tied by dotted Anchor lozenge with octagonal "Buenos Ayres / Paq. Fr. J. No. 1" alongside in black (March 12). Bordeaux arrival cds on reverse (April 8). A delightful and rare cover.
