    1871 (Sep 15): Diagonally bisected Siège 10 c. bistre plus 20 c. blue, each tied by lozenge Gros Chiffres '4273' and type 16 'Villers-Cotterêts' cds. alongside, on large part of entire to Paris with arrival mark (Sep 16) on reverse. Villers-Cotterêts is known to use bisected stamps to match the tariff change to 25 c. of September 1st, 1871 (see Yvert specialisé 1975, p. 161), signed Calves.
