    Taylor 5 c. blue, single example used on 1879 cover from Greencastle/PA to Leicester, UK with large handstamped "S" at left in blue and notation "Stopped Coin Letter" in manuscript, reverse with four line "Excluded from the Mail/As Containing Matter in/Contravention of Treaty/Regulation" and triangular "Dead Letter Office" marking (Sept 24, 1878). Notation on front "0.1c", presumably the coin enclosed. Rare and most appealing cover that would benefit by being opened for display.
