    1875: Introduction of unframed and framed "T" markings. The collection of covers (27), with 1877 part paid cover from USA to London with "25" and "7½" charge marks and a similar 1877 cover with Taylor 5 c. blue; 1876 entire from Havana and 1875 cover from New York with circular T" mark; Brazil Dom Pedro 200 r. used 1877 underpaid cover to Argentina tied by framed "T" marking; 1875 cover from GB part paid with six 1 d. reds and charged 20 c. due; Argentina 1878 entire to Bordeaux with unframed "T" marking; 1876 cover from India to Brussels with 8 a. adhesive and unframed "T" mark; France with erroneously applied and erased "T" mark on 1876 cover, 1878 cover from Denmark to USA unpaid, 1875 cover unpaid from Livorno to Moscow etc. A fascinating lot. Note: The Introduction of the "T" Tax Marking was agreed at the 1st Congress.
