    1923: Handstamped overprints, ordinary letter from Tiflis to New York, franked violet handstamps 15 000 / 2000 (2) and 80 000 / 3 000 (4), together with 50 copies of overprints on loose stamps or fragments. Because the basic stamps are scarcer than the overprinted ones, these handstamps have rarely been forged.
