    1848/58: Post Paid Latest Impression, 2 d. blue, position 7 on sheet of twelve subjects and thus showing "PENOE" for "PENCE" error, clear to large margins all round, cancelled by complete strike of "Mauritius / GPO" datestamp (Dec 24, 1857) in black, leaving the variety clear. Thinned at base and at top with pressed creasing but a rare use of the datestamp on this issue. Cert. BPA (2011) Gi = £ 1'500.
