    1848: Post Paid Earliest Impression, 1 d. orange-vermilion on yellowish paper, used example with margins just touched at top, close but clear at left and at base, huge margin at right; cancelled by two strikes of rare framed "PAID." handstamp in black. Slight central thin but a stamp of rich vibrant colour and extremely clear definition in the diagonal lined background. A rarity. Certs. Calves (2010) and BPA (2011) Gi = £ 15'000.
