    1869 (Dec 30): Cover from Edinburgh to India franked by 1858/79 1 d. red pl. 105 and 1867 1 s. green pl. 4, addressed to the secretary of the Lieutenant Governor of the North West Provinces with reverse showing oval "Sea Post Office-D" and very scarce "Lieutenant Governor's NWP Camp" datestamp of arrival in red. Some edge wear to envelope but rare. Ex collection Gerald Sattin.
