    Postal Connections to Overseas - Réunion 1883 (Sept 22): Registered (Raisins) cloth cover headed 'Echantillon sans valeur' from Smirna to St. Denis Réunion, franked with 1867 fine whiskers 2 s. yellow (2) and 10 s. blue (3) tied by "SMIRNE 22/3 83" cds in black (Tranmer fig. 10).  Registration number in black alongside, reverse with Austrian Alexandria, Egyptian Alexandrie Recommandé, Suez Arrivé and French Paquebot TPO Ligne T (Nov 1) datestamps.
