    International Postal Connections to Europe - Romania 1864ca: Registered cover from Warsaw to Bacau, Moldavia endorsed "über Lemberg und Czernowitz", struck with "WARSZAWA 22/7" cds and framed FRANCO and RECOMMANDIRT in red as well as POLOGNE in black (Van der Linden fig. 2215, said to be applied in Krakow) alongside. Reverse with Lemberg, Czernowitz and Jassy datestamps in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 757) and "BAKEU 30/7 arrival in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 721). Cover opened roughly on three sides, but a rare registered cover from Russian ruled Poland to Moldavia.rnNote: The addressee was the stable master of the Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein in Bacau.
