    International Postal Connections to Europe - Italy 1874 (Dec 24): Stationery envelope 15 s. brown up-rated with 1867 coarse whiskers 10 s. blue, mailed from Constantinople to Venice, cancelled by "CONSTANTINOPEL 24 / 12 74" cds (Tchilinghirian fig. 391) with "P.D." in black alongside. Reverse with Venezia arrival cds (Jan 1, 1875). Rare. Illustrated and discussed in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 423 and in the Ferchenbauer handbook part IV at page 566. Certs.
