    International Postal Connections to Europe - Italy 1867 (Aug 28): Cover from Adrianople to Genova, franked with 1864 Arms 3 s. green, two examples, 5 s. rose and 15 s. brown, defective at base, perf. 9½, tied by ornamental "ADRIANOPEL 5/8" cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 947), "N.A." (= Non Adebidata, no additional charge) in black alongside. Reverse with Vienna and Udine transits and Genova arrival cds (Sept 14). Horizontal file fold away from adhesives and datestamps, a rare and most attractive cover, illustrated and discussed in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 414. Cert.
