    International Postal Connections to Europe - Italy 1858 (April 28): Prepaid entire letter from Salonica to Genova, struck with two line "SALONICH / 28. AVRIL" handstamp in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 594), "P.D." and FRANCO, both in red alongside. Reverse with Genova arrival cds (May 8) and rated "2.20" piastre which covers the whole journey to Sardinia. An attractive and rare prepaid usage.
