    International Postal Connections to Europe - France 1850/54: Two unpaid entire letters from Salonica to Lyon and from Constantinople to Paris respectively, struck with two line SALONICH or CONSTANTINOPEL datestamps in black, French entry cds in red and blue, respectively and "T.A." postal treaty handstamp alongside the 1850 entire with "über / BASEL", and both with Sigillium sanitatis Quarantine handstamps on reverse. The front of the covers show '18' and '36' décimes due for a first and fourth weight rate cover, respectively. An appealing duo.
