    International Postal Connections to Europe - Belgium 1860 (March 17): Unpaid entire letter from Constantinople to Liège, struck with fine ornamental "CONSTANTINOPEL 17 / 3" cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 385). Reverse with Belgium entry "ALLEMAGNE EST No. 3" cds. On front, the cover shows the taxation in manuscript of '20 / 25' kreuzer for Lloyd and GAPU/Belgium, respectively. In Triest scarce rate handstamp '7' silbergroschen applied in blue with '10' décimes due on arrival. A fresh and fine entire to a rare destination from the Austrian Levant, illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 398. Cert. van der Linden (1998).
