    International Postal Connections to Europe - Great Britain 1874 (Jan 15): Double weight cover from Beirut to Cheltenham, franked with 1867 3 s. green, 5 s. red and 15 s. brown, all in horizontal pairs, tied by "BERUTTI 15 / 1" cds (Tranmer fig. 3) in black. Reverse with Cheltenham arrival cds (Jan 28). On front, manuscript '16' kreuzer in red crayon for onward postage beyond Prussia for a scond weight rate cover. Item with corner wear and tears on the reverse, three stamps with minor perforation irregularities, but an appealing three colour franking for the 46 soldi rate, illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 395.
