    International postal connections to Europe - Ottoman Empire / Albania 1868c: Cover front from Ragusa to Scutari bearing 1867 coarse whiskers 5 kr. red in a horizontal pair, cancelled by two line "RAGUSA / 8 GIUo." datestamp, with Turkey 1 pi. yellow used as postage due alongside tied by light Scutari handstamp (Coles & Walker fig. 3 / Tchilinghirian fig. 498). Item shows the reduced Albania rate of 10 kreuzer, while the Turkish stamp paid the rate from Antivari harbour to Scutari. Illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 379. Cert.
