    Austrian Levant Rates 1865c: Cover front from Bottushan to Leipzig, franked with 1864 Arms 5 s. red and 15 s. brown, perf. 9½, tied by "BOTUSCHAN 16 / 1" cds's in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 727). Front with tears and wear, but a very rare usage showing the 20 kr. rate before 1866 from Walachia with 15 kr. for Austria and 5 kr. for the Levant. Illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 270 and in the Ferchenbauer handbook part IV on page 527.rnNote: The 5 kreuzer ÖW rate was only in force to or from the two Levant offices in Bottushan and Ploesti.
