    Trieste Rate Handstamps 1858 (June 14): Unpaid entire letter from Patras to Amsterdam, struck with Patras cds in black and a watery strike of rare framed '8¼' rate handstamp (Van der Linden fig. 3116) alongside. Reverse with Amsterdam arrival cds in red (July 4). The '8¼' silbergroschen rate handstamp reflects 10 lepta for the Greek inland rate plus 9 kreuzer CM each for the Lloyd part and the GAPU parts of the journey. Illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 229.
