FELDPOSTAMT 3s Ae Cs 3/9" (Tchilinghirian fig. 737) cds, French entry cds (Sept 14) in blue and framed postal contract handstamp "T.A." alongside. Reverse with Hermannstadt transit and Paris arrival cds's in black, the cover rastel punched and taxed with '22' décimes due on arrival. A late usage of a Fieldpost cancellation after the end of the War, illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 153. rnNote: Most of the former Fieldpost offices received new postmarks after being re-converted into Consular Post Offices. Only those in Fokschan and Ploesti used the Fieldpost cancellers for some time after the War.
