    Postal relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina 1861 (Dec. 5): Entire letter from Banja Luca to the merchant Alessandro Covacevich in Trieste, carried by messenger to the Austrian Post Office in Alt-Gradisca where 1861 5 kr. red and two examples of 10 kr. brown were applied, one on the reverse to cover the registration surtaxe (torn on opening), all tied by "ALT-GRADISKA 5 / 12" cds's in black. "RECOM." registration handstamp alongside, reverse with Agram transit and oval "RECOMMANDIRT TRIEST 9/12 1861" arrival datestamp in black.
