    Post office in Belgrade 1856 (April 30): Entire Letter from Belgrade dated internally on April 18, 1856 to Titel in the Banat Military Zone, franked with 1854 3 kr. red, a fresh and fine example, tied by clear two line "BELGRAD / 30 APR." datestamp (Müller 178a = 120 points / Tchilinghirian fig. 663) in black, reverse with "SIGILLIUM SANITATIS" disinfection handstamp and light rastel punches applied at Semlin and "TITEL 2 / 5" arrival datestamp in black. A superb and rare cover, a late usage of Imperial definitives in the Belgrad PO which was in principal discontinued when it came under the administrative control of the Temesvar postal district in 1855. A famous cover showing a light contemporary wrinkle in the upper margin just mentioned for accuracy, illustrated and discussed in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 138 as well as in the Ferchenbauer handbook part IV on page 470.
