Andrea: 1854 Carta a macchina 15 c. red type III in a vert. strip of three from the lower left sheet corner with complete St. Andrew's Cross at base and broad sheet margins at base (10 mm) and left (9 mm), fresh colour, each stamp cancelled "PADOVA 9/1" cds. A beauty of this rare and desirable combination, described and displayed in the census of Dr. Jerger in 'Allgemeine und besondere Frankaturen' (1983) and the one of Greg Todd (2004).rnSigned Colla; group cert.
